We specialize in finger weight yarn. All of our yarn is hand-dyed in small batches and we suggest alternating between skeins for an even colour.
As with all hand-dyed yarns, each skein takes on a slightly different look, even when they are dyed together. No two are exactly alike!
Also, please keep in mind that colours may not be exactly as shown on your screen, due to computer screen calibration. We take every effort to show their true colours to the best of our ability.
My favourite SOCK YARN
75% Merino super-wash
and 25% Nylon
This gorgeous fingering sock yarn , 75% merino super-wash wool, blended with 25% nylon for strength and resistance to wear. This yarn lasts, and doesn't pile.
The superwash Merino comes from Argentina and Uruguay and is sourced from many farms of varying sizes, from smaller to larger farms, again often the fleeces are collected together from small farmers and then processed on a larger scale.

SUPER SOFT SOCK YARN
80% super-wash Bluefaced Leicester wool and 20% silk
This high-twist 3-ply yarn would be particularly good for sock knitting. The natural lustre and durability of the BFL combined with the sheen and strength of silk make a soft yet sturdy sock yarn with a subtle glimmer and shine. The long staple length of the BFL also makes your finished object more resistant to pilling.
The natural buttery colour of the unbleached BFL gives this yarn a soft ivory cast.
